Filmmaker Fredrick Ewelike joins Target Talk to talk about turning a childhood love of storytelling into a career behind the camera.

Fredrick breaks down his path from writing stories as a kid and making skits in college to directing films and music videos, building ZebraTail Studios and creating projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

We also get into The Alfie White Project, his new proof-of-concept short film about an internet star dealing with the fallout of a viral stunt that ends in tragedy. Fredrick explains what goes into taking a film from the script to the screen, the year and a half of work behind the project, the process of casting and directing a production, and his plans to use the short as a step toward a full feature film.

The conversation also gets into working with artists on music videos, why he believes Texas has the talent to become a bigger home for filmmaking, his favorite movies and directors, and what he wants to build next through ZebraTail Studios.
