Target Talk: Amaelyah Is Building Ethos on Her Own Terms

Amaelyah returns to Target Talk to talk about how Ethos has evolved since the last time she joined us, what this past year has taught her, and how much more intentional she has had to become while building something real. She reflects on the difference between attention and actual progress, what artists still waste money on trying to look the part, and what it really takes to invest in a creative the right way.
We also get into Ethos as something bigger than rollouts and releases. From live events to listening parties to helping artists build community beyond the music, Amaelyah breaks down the thinking behind it all and what she wants people to understand about the work. She also speaks on building as a Black woman in creative spaces, creating opportunities that were never made with her in mind, and what she wants the next phase of Ethos to look like.
